Congressional internships are an excellent opportunity for students to learn about our government and to contribute to Congresswoman Lowey’s work on behalf of the 17th Congressional District. All internships in Congresswoman Lowey's office are unpaid. Applicants will be contacted for interviews (either in person or over the phone) after the application deadlines.
For internships in the Westchester and Rockland County district offices: The Westchester and Rockland offices accept fall and winter applications on a rolling basis.
For internships in the Washington, D.C. office: The application deadline for fall internships in the D.C. office is Friday, August 11, 2017. All applicants for an internship in the D.C. office must be available for a phone interview.
