Press Release

WHITE PLAINS, NY – Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY17/Rockland-Westchester), issued the following on the passing of Moshe Herzog and David Schneebalg:

The tragic loss of 27-year-old Moshe Herzog and 26-year-old David Schneebalg is heartbreaking. Herzog, a member of the Haverstraw Ambulance Corps, Chaverim of Rockland, and a lieutenant with William P. Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Chestnut Ridge, and Schneebalg, an EMT at Faist and Haverstraw, were taken from us far too soon.

Not only were they young, outstanding examples of what it means to serve one’s community and to devote oneself to others, but they were described by friends and coworkers as giving, loving, and caring people whose lives were tragically cut short.

My thoughts are with their family, friends, colleagues, and those in the communities they served.
