Survey: Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act has protected more than 8.6 million New Yorkers from unfair premium increases; provided more affordable coverage for those with preexisting conditions; prevented more than 6.4 million New Yorkers from reaching an annual or lifetime limit; provided 2.7 million New Yorkers with health coverage; and nearly cut the New York uninsured rate in half. However, the Majority in Congress took the first steps toward undoing health reforms that are helping nearly every single American family, without even offering a replacement.
